I take had my Philips smart goggle box for well-nigh 5yrs. It had a few glitches in the start twelvemonth just not enough to consider returning it. Over time it got worse. All of the problems I saw others complaining about...I felt their hurting. The idiot box doesn't respond to the remote. It randomly goes back to the home screen. There is no volume to go along with moving picture or no motion-picture show to go with volume. It constantly says it can't connect to Wi-Fi while all of the other non philips tvs in the domicile are continued. I also take to unplug the tv at least daily to reboot. Now it won't even plough on....information technology'due south a wrap for my tv at the 5yr marker. I do not recommend this brand for smart idiot box purchase.

My husband bought our 65 inch Phillips smart tv equally a Black Friday purchase Christmas of 2019. Information technology has given us nil merely problems at every turn. It times out and turns off when information technology wants to. It freezes and doesn't communicate with the remote. It forgets the wifi. Nosotros accept to unplug information technology constantly. DON'T BUY THIS TV, EVER!!

I was given this boob tube equally a gift and have had zippo just trouble. It loses the pic, it loses the sound, sometimes information technology loses both. Support is tedious and prefers to send me to my cable company. At the asking of Philips support, I have had my cable box replaced 3 times in the last 9 months. The box is not the problem: it'southward the slice of junk tv.

This Tv is horrible. I will never purchase Phillips products again. I literally accept to unplug it once a day for information technology to reboot. Information technology will lose audio all of a sudden, lose WiFi, or simply crash. It can barely handle apps. I take to try 10-20 times before it decides to play. This has been an issue since the kickoff few days. Wish I would take only taken it back but I didn't want to have it off the wall. This detail is a POS.

Accept to unplug and plug dorsum in oftentimes. It loses wifi point. Besides apps don't respond a lot. 3 Months old. It's been a nightmare since I bought information technology. Remote doesn't always work. Needs to be rebooted frequently.

My mother gave me this tv in feb/2021. It has i year warranty. 5 days ago information technology only stopped displaying picture. I have contacted Philips about getting someone to come come across about fixing it but they refuse to honor the warranty considering I don't take the receipt even though it says this on their web site word for give-and-take "If you lot crave service but you lot lost your proof-of-purchase or the retailer is unknown to Philips (e.1000. a seller on an on-line auction aqueduct), the warranty period shall be deemed to have started three months from the date of manufacture indicated on the product or derived from the serial number." My television even going three months from date of manufacture which is 10/2020 is still under warranty until the end of december 2021. Come to observe out these tv's accept been declining on nigh every one who bought them. A defect known to philips nonetheless they have not recalled the television set'south. They in one case was a top visitor but now information technology seems they just rip customers off. Don't ever buy from them. I never volition once again.

Updated on12/21/2021: About the review I provided couple of days ago most the Philips smart TV I bought concluding year and keeps shutting off and on every ii minutes; I called Philips customer service for help, the lady tried to troubleshoot the trouble, asked me to exercise couple of things that I have been doing for the last two days to no avail, she finally said she tin't help fixing information technology. I said the TV is manufactured in May 2020 and I bought information technology in July 2020 (she verified that from the TV's model and serial numbers). I told her, "Y'all should replace the unit." She said that the ane year warranty is expired and she can't do that! I said I know the 1 yr warranty is over only my question is did she look the TV to go bad within the year? What kind of product is that? She said, "Sad sir. I tin't assistance you lot." So I'grand going to go and go some other TV, but for sure this fourth dimension it is not going to be Philips.

Original Review: Last year I bought a 50' Philips, so chosen, smart Television receiver with Android software. The label says it was manufactured in May 2020. In the last few days, the Television set started to reboot itself every ii minutes. My remote control can't communicate with it, at first I thought something incorrect with the remote, I bought two different remotes and none was able to communicate with the Boob tube.

I tried every tip and advice from YouTube read postings on the internet on how to fix this problem, none worked. I idea the all-time solution is to reset the Telly to the manufacturing plant setup, but I can't get to that menu without the remote and the buttons in the dorsum of the tv exercise non work. Repair shops are asking for $149.00 just to listen to the problem, let lonely the cost of solving information technology. It is much cheaper to buy a new tv, I checked them out at Walmart today and an LG to with the same specs is sold for almost $400. Shame on Philips products, I never seen a TV that doesn't last for more than a yr! Commonly TVs last forever. No more Philips.

I wouldn't have another Philips Tv set. Information technology has been the worse TV we've always had. The apps won't load. It's slow when streaming. Philips cannot right the issue. Their customer service is not swell either. Much better brands available for far less money.

I bought a Philips 2021 television (70pus7906 model) advertised at around £1,000 and featuring google assistant. The assistant doesn't work with remote control equally there's no integrated microphone and there is no boosted "smart" remote. It is supposed to work by downloading an app (or apps) onto your IOS device, or android telephone. This fact is hidden from the purchaser then beware that you tin't interact with google assistant, past voice command, without having an additional device to mitt. To exacerbate the problem the app, downloaded on my IOS device, failed to find the Philip Idiot box (2021 model, I repeat) despite numerous searches.

Philips customer services announced to exist completely disinterested in this issue and have lazily, and reluctantly, offered a couple of unsuccessful workarounds. They avowal google assistant is built into the television set simply don't tell you that you Tin'T use the banana without an additional device. It seems then technologically backwards to me!!!

Nosotros have had Philips products for a long time, and then decided to stay with the make. Moving-picture show is great... but that is most it. Bought 65" for living room and 48" for bedroom and immediately noticed audio was crackling on both brand new TVs. Information technology was only certain voices that buzzed the speakers so we dealt with it for a while. Tv set constantly has to exist re-established with our wifi network. Specifically, have to restart our internet modem/router in order to go TVs to reconnect (when all other devices in our business firm are still working fine).

As others have already stated, for some reason later on a month of use these TVs starting time lagging and freezing and need to exist unplugged for a few minutes and plugged in to start working once again. I knew better to buy any of the scam warranties and after reading other reviews know not to telephone call and waste my fourth dimension with client service. We haven't even had these TVs for a year and now the speakers on the TVs are completely blown when we barely play them at xxx% book. Have audio confined (not Phillips) and TVs are dorsum to functional. We spent a lot of money on these and will get what we can out of them, only probably will not be ownership Phillips again.
